While I would imagine Winnie the Pooh (thanks to his later connection with Disney) is more popular here in the States than Potter's Peter Rabbit, Peter, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and Mr. Nine of Potter's stories are animated here, spread out generously over three discs, and in a word, they're enchanting. BBC Video has gathered together the previously released DVDs of The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends, the 1992 BBC animated series featuring the beloved characters from author, illustrator and conservationist Beatrix Potter, and titled them The Beatrix Potter Collection. ![]()

And I am clueless on why they chose Eric McCormack to be Mel Ferrer. As the movie progressed, I became more annoyed with her and irritable - exactly the opposite of how Audrey makes me feel. Her rendition of Moon River is okay, but calls for a dub - due to the style of her singing - it lost all fragility. I felt embarrassed for her, seeing her attempting an English accent and failing to capture even an ounce Audrey's spirit or charm. Audrey's persona is impossible to portray in the first place - but JLH? They could have chosen someone more appropriate for the role. Jennifer Love Hewitt was miscast, as her performance as Audrey was insufficient. ![]() The story kept switching from during the production of Breakfast At Tiffany's to her early life. I was becoming agitated with the way this was edited as well. Audrey Hepburn's life boring? Not at all - but they managed to make it seem so. and I did not expect it to be THIS bad! Yet for all of its long history, and despite its tenacity, Tangier is disappearing. They are separated from their countrymen by the nation’s largest estuary, and a twelve-mile boat trip across often tempestuous water-the same water that for generations has made Tangier’s fleet of small fishing boats a chief source for the rightly prized Chesapeake Bay blue crab, and has lent the island its claim to fame as the softshell crab capital of the world. Mapped by John Smith in 1608, settled during the American Revolution, the tiny sliver of mud is home to 470 hardy people who live an isolated and challenging existence, with one foot in the 21 st century and another in times long passed. Unable to find inner peace, Siddhartha initiates his search for Atman.
